Ceramic tiles China – Hotel drawings
In October 2016 I have been working as an artist in residence in Jingdezhen, China.
I have been working there on a series of ceramic tiles that I painted in the same direct way as the drawings I make when I am on the road.
The size of the ceramic tiles are the same size as my unfolded sketchbook.Half of the tiles stayed in the studio in Jingdezhen and will probably be displayed in the same gallery as my bigger sculpture SKETCH IN SPACE at the same moment as I would be displaying them here in Europe.
